Employment: Current Position: -Professor in Pediatrics; the College of Medicine/ Al-Nahrain University/ since the 24th of Sept./2018. -Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine/ Al-Nahrain University, Since 15 Dec/1998 until now. Involved in both Undergraduate & Postgraduate Pediatric teaching (supervising both Arab Board & Iraqi Board candidates of Pediatrics, in addition to sharing in supervision of some of the Postgraduate students in the basic sciences) -Consultant Pediatrician since 16/2/2003. Practicing General Pediatrics & Neonatology, and covering the specialty of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Metabolic problems. Previous Positions: - 1991-1998: Lecturer in Pediatric dept. in Sadam Medical College ( now Iraqi Medical College) and as specialist pediatrician in the Teaching hospital. - 1990-1991: Specialist pediatrician at Al-Elweya Pediatric Teaching hospital in Baghdad. - 1988: Membership of the Arab Board for Medical specializations/Pediatrics. - 1988-1990: Specialist pediatrician at the Children’s hospital in Dyala governorate-Iraq. - 1981- 1982: Resident for 12 months rotation, at the Medical City in Baghdad. - 1982-1983: General practitioner in rural areas for one year. - 1983-1984: S.H.O. in Pediatrics, at the Medical City Pediatric hosp. (Al- Mansoor hosp.) - 1984-1987: Candidate for the Pediatric Arab Board membership at Al-Yarmook teaching hosp. In Baghdad.
