Resident (6) months in Urology , Al-Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital.
Third Year:
Resident (2) month in Thoracic and vascular Surgery, Al- Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital.
Resident (2) month in Neurosurgery, Al- Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital.
Resident (2) month in Paediatric Surgery, Al- Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital.
Resident (2) month in Plastic Surgery, Surgical Specialty Teaching Hospital.

Fourth, and Fifth Years:
Resident (24) months in General Surgery program and increasing responsibilities during which he attended theater sessions as second assistant, first assistant, and finally he performed operations by his own.
At the End of the First Year:
Passed the primary examination for Basic Sciences and Principles of General Surgery.
At the End of the Fifth Year:
Submitted a thesis fulfilling part of the requirement to enter the final examination titled:
“Color Doppler assessment of benign and malignant breast diseases" which was approved by the Examination Committee on 11th.April 2006
At the End of the Fifth Year: Passed the final comprehensive examination and was awarded the degree of "Fellow" of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties in General Surgery on 29th. November 2006.
29/11/2006: Awarded the degree of "Fellow" of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specialties in General Surgery, according to the Issue numbered 7550 on 29/11/2006 from the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties.
29/11/2006: Awarded the title of "Specialist" in General Surgery according to the Issue numbered 7550 from the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties, and was appointed as a specialist surgeon in the Department of General Surgery at Al- Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital, and is continuous in service in the hospital till now.
17/7/2007 Awarded the title of lecturer in general surgery college of medicine Al nahrain university according to the issue number 9/1/26/3373 on 5/8/2007.
6/4/2009 Awarded the degree of fellow of Arab board of medical specialties in general surgery according to the issue number 229 on 11/11/2010.
17/7/2011 Awarded the title of assistant professor in general surgery according to the issue number 221 on 3/7/2012
20/6/2013: Admitted and accepted in The Iraqi Board of Medical Specialties for training for the degree of Fellowship (Board) in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery.
8/11/2016: Awarded the degree of "Fellow" of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specialties in Gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery, according to the Issue numbered 3823 at 8/11/2016 from the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties and became a member of .
22th /April /2017: Awarded the title consultant surgeon according to the issue numbered 335.
22th of October 2017: Awarded the degree of "Fellow" of American college of surgeon (member ID 3287404).
27th of October 2017: success in the MRCS ed. Part B OCES exam held in Oman.
2nd of February 2018: elected as a member of royal college of Edinburgh, reference No. 83151.
16-17 February 2018: ATLS provider course.
19th of march 2018 : became a member of Society of American Gastro intestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES)
27-28 July 2018: instructor course for ATLS.
16th October 2018 : pass the JSCFE section 1 exam
